To enroll at Homestead Job Corps Center, please feel free to contact the Admissions Department at (305) 257-4865.

Orientation

Please call in advance to schedule an orientation at Homestead Job Corps Center. Below is a list of documentation that you will have to bring to the orientation.

  • Birth certificate [original document]
  • Social Security card [original document]
  • State ID or driver’s license
  • High school diploma or GED (if you have one)
  • School transcripts
  • Immunization records (if you have them)
  • Health insurance or Medicaid (if you have one)
  • Proof of income for the last six months if your Social Security number ends in any of the following numbers: 03, 12, 17, 30, or 93
  • Temporary Permanent Resident card or current passport (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
  • Your child’s birth certificate and Social Security card (if you need child care)
  • At least five alternate contacts
  • 16-17 year olds need to bring a Juvenile Record Check [original document] (Available from 3300 NW 27th Avenue)
  • 18-24 year olds need to bring an Adult Record Check [original document] (Available from any police station)

Note: You are required to wear professional attire (as if you were going to a job interview) to the orientation. No shorts, hats, slides/flip-flops, etc., are allowed.

Tours start at 9:00 AM sharp every Thursday. You must arrive by 8:45 AM.
